One of our biggest successes is the Newent Cycling Loop, a 28 mile circular ride, exploring the lanes of north west Gloucestershire, created in 2015. It is fully signposted and there is an accompanying leaflet with map. It has encouraged people to get out on their bikes and brought tourists to the area, as well as being a regular route enjoyed by individuals and groups.

The creation of the Loop followed discussions with our local County Councillor who identified the Active Together Fund. Our bid was successful.

An updated map/leaflet was published in 2019 with funds supplied by freedom leisure, Newent. The dedicated website gives more information with downloadable map and gpx files and details of two shorter 19 mile loops.
